Public guided tour Tue March 19, 2024, 1:00-2:00 pm
Even a short tour of the facility gives an impression of the deep roots of traditional Japanese culture in Buddhism. Both the garden and the Japanese house demand a sense of mindfulness and quiet contemplation from the visitor. The gardens show a different face in every season: in the spring months, when plums, cherries, dogwoods and finally the azaleas bloom one after the other, in the autumn months, when the foliage begins to change color and the garden becomes a real firework display on sunny days dressed in colors. – From March to June, the EKŌ Center offers public tours through the temple garden and the Buddhist temple on selected dates on a Tuesday.
Please note: Due to construction work on the back, the Japanese wooden house unfortunately can NOT be visited as part of the guided tours in 2024!
The number of participants is limited to 15. A maximum of four people can be registered at the same time. Remaining places can also be booked on the day of the tour! The fees for pre-ordered tickets must be transferred in advance. (Registered participants get the information in the confirmation of their participation). Written registration required.
Please note the conditions of participation.
