除夜会 Joya-e: Year End Service

A service to close out the year. Only the first 60 visitors are allowed to participate in the service in the temple. Priority for access to the Year End Bell (Joya-no kane) will be given to visitors attending the Year End Service inside the temple.

Please note:
The ceremony starts at 3 pm.
No pre-registration possible. Those 60 people who line up in front of the temple early can take part in the ceremony. (Opening of the iron gate at 2:00 pm.) These participants in the ceremony have priority in the subsequent ringing of the Joya-no kane bell.
