Japan Day at the EKŌ Center: Sat May 23, 2026, 1 – 5 pm

For Japan Day 2026, the EKŌ Center invites you to visit the temple garden and exhibition, enjoy demonstrations, listen to a short Buddhist recitation, and learn more about calligraphy. The traditional house will unfortunately be closed on this day. – Admission is free!
Food and drinks are not permitted, and photo shootings are strictly prohibited.

Temple garden:
1 – 5 pm – Admission is regulated (waiting time possible)!

Short Recitation in the EKO Temple
1:30 | 2:30 | 3:30 | 4:30 pm – The temple itself is closed to the public but can be viewed from the garden.

Exhibition in the foyer of the EKŌ building:
1 – 5 pm (waiting times possible) – “DŌ 道 – the Way: Calligraphic works by IWASAKA Noriko” (more information here)
